چکیده

We calculate 3-loop master integrals for heavy quark correlators and the 3-loop QCD corrections to the ρ-parameter. They obey non-factorizing differential equations of second order with more than three singularities, which cannot be factorized in Mellin-N space either. The solution of the homogeneous equations is possible in terms of convergent close integer power series as 2F1 Gauß hypergeometric functions at rational argument. In some cases, integrals of this type can be mapped to complete elliptic integrals at rational argument. This class of functions appears to be the next one arising in the calculation of more complicated Feynman integrals following the harmonic polylogarithms, generalized polylogarithms, cyclotomic harmonic polylogarithms, square-root valued iterated integrals, and combinations thereof, which appear in simpler cases. The inhomogeneous solution of the corresponding differential equations can be given in terms of iterative integrals, where the new innermost letter itself is not an iterative integral. A new class of iterative integrals is introduced containing letters in which (multiple) definite integrals appear as factors. For the elliptic case, we also derive the solution in terms of integrals over modular functions and also modular forms, using q-product and series representations implied by Jacobi’s θi functions and Dedekind’s η-function. The corresponding representations can be traced back to polynomials out of Lambert–Eisenstein series, having representations also as elliptic polylogarithms, a q-factorial 1/ηk(τ), logarithms and polylogarithms of q and their q-integrals. Due to the specific form of the physical variable x(q) for different processes, different representations do usually appear. Numerical results are also presented. ar X iv :1 70 6. 01 29 9v 1 [ he pth ] 5 J un 2 01 7

Differential reduction of generalized hypergeometric functions from Feynman diagrams: One-variable case

The differential-reduction algorithm, which allows one to express generalized hypergeometric functions with parameters of arbitrary values in terms of such functions with parameters whose values differ from the original ones by integers, is discussed in the context of evaluating Feynman diagrams. Where this is possible, we compare our results with those obtained using standard techniques. It is...

Motivated by the precision results in the electroweak theory studies of two-loop Feynman diagrams are performed. Specifically this paper gives a contribution to the knowledge of massive two-loop selfenergy diagrams in arbitrary and especially four dimensions. This is done in three respects: firstly results in terms of generalized, multivariable hypergeometric functions are presented giving expl...

Differential reduction of generalized hypergeometric functions in application to Feynman diagrams: One-variable case

The differential reduction algorithm which allow one to express generalized hypergeometric functions with arbitrary values of parameters in terms of functions with fixed values of parameters differing from the original ones by integers is discussed in a context of evaluation of Feynman diagrams. Where it is possible we make a comparison between our results and ones based on a standard technique...

Algebraic Structure of Cut Feynman Integrals and the Diagrammatic Coaction.

We study the algebraic and analytic structure of Feynman integrals by proposing an operation that maps an integral into pairs of integrals obtained from a master integrand and a corresponding master contour. This operation is a coaction. It reduces to the known coaction on multiple polylogarithms, but applies more generally, e.g., to hypergeometric functions. The coaction also applies to generi...

Nested (inverse) binomial sums and new iterated integrals for massive Feynman diagrams

Nested sums containing binomial coefficients occur in the computation of massive operator matrix elements. Their associated iterated integrals lead to alphabets including radicals, for which we determined a suitable basis. We discuss algorithms for converting between sum and integral representations, mainly relying on the Mellin transform. To aid the conversion we worked out dedicated rewrite r...
